Driving License Online Application Form:

The Government of Delhi through Regional Transport Offices issues Driving License to all the residents of Delhi who are eligible and applied for Driving License. Before applying for Driving License one has to apply for Learner License.

Types of Driving License:

  • Learner License
  • Driving License

Delhi Driving License Eligibility Conditions:

  • Delhi Residents whose age is between 16 and 18 years, those are eligible for applying Driving License to drive Motor cycle 50 CC and below. These applicants must submit the Parents written consent.
  • Delhi Residents whose age is 18 years and above they are eligible to apply Driving License to drive non transport vehicles.
  • Delhi Residents whose age is 20 years and above, those who have minimum one year experience on driving non transport vehicles are eligible for applying Driving License Transport vehicles.

Delhi Learner License:

After the submission of your Learner License application form you have to undergo a computer based Learner test on road rules and regulations. After passing the test Learner License will be issued, which consists of road test appointment date. Based on your Drive test you will get your driving license.

Note:

  • The validity of Learner License is 6 months.
  • Learner License cannot be renewed.
  • If any applicant fails the learner test they can reappear for the test by paying the fees.

Drive Test in Delhi:

  • A valid learner License holder whose learner license issue date completed 30 days; those applicants are eligible for appearing dive test.
  • Drive test will be conducted in two parts. One is ground test and the other one is applicant’s skill on driving will be tested.
  • Applicants after the successful drive test i.e. if you pass both the test you will be issued a coupon or receipt. By using that acknowledgement you can collect your Driving License within a week.

How to apply for Learner License online in Delhi?

How to apply for Learner License Offline in Delhi?

Residents of Delhi state who are eligible for applying Learner License they can apply offline by following this simple procedure:

Delhi Learner License offline apply Process:

  • Locate your area’s RTO (under whose jurisdiction you are living).
  • Visit the located Regional Transport Office in person.
  • Take the Learner License Application Form (Form 2) from the RTO.
  • Along with Form 2 take Form 1 (which is used for self declaration of physical fitness).
  • Fill the Learner License application Form and physical fitness form with correct details.
  • False information and incorrect details will lead to the rejection of your Learner License application.
  • Attach the supporting documents (Age proof and Address proof) to the main application form.
  • Submit the completely filled Learner License application form to the issuing authority for paying the fees.
  • Pay the prescribed fees to the issuing authority, after the fees payment you will get a coupon or receipt which consists of your Learner License application number and the issuing date.
  • Collect your Learner License on the date which was mentioned on the receipt or coupon.

Note:

For applying the Driving License, applicant should have valid Learner License. If the validity of learner license is expired or lapsed in such case applicant must apply for Learner License again. So the time-limit which is mentioned on your Learner License, within that time limit you should apply for Driving License.

How to make Appointment for learner License Test Online in Delhi?

Government of India through the Ministry of Transport & Highways official portal provides this facility for all the residents of Delhi State. By using this facility Delhi State residents can book an online appointment or a slot for Learner License Test.

Delhi Learner License Online Slot Booking Procedure:

  • Visit the Sarathi official portal.
  • Select Delhi State from the list.
  • A window containing Driving License menu will be displayed.
  • Select Learner License Test from the Appointments (Slot Booking).
  • LL test Appointments window will be displayed.

Residents of Delhi State can book the slot for Drive Skill Test offline by visiting the RTO under the jurisdiction where they are living. This facility is applicable only for the valid and effective Learner License holders. Valid Learner License holders one month after the issuance of Learner License can apply for the Drive Skill test.
